You won’t get rich following Ann Romney’s shopping advice

Chicagoans, be warned just because the discount membership drought is seemingly over with the opening of a 2nd Costco in Chicago this summer following Ann Romney’s shopping advice won’t quench your thirst for savings.

Appearing on Fox News Sunday with Chris Wallace, Ann Romney, wife of presumptive 2012 Republican presidential nominee Mitt Romney, could not contain her love for the big box discount retailer. Ann exclaimed, “We both love Costco.”

She even took the opportunity to share a few shopping tips. She said, “You go in the door. You take a sharp right, and you go way down to the back of the store and just go — just shop the outside of aisles. Boom, boom, boom.”

Don’t be fooled by the shopping habits of the rich and well off, you might find yourself worst off if you follow it too closely.

It’s human nature to walk to the right side of the aisles when shopping. Retailers count on this little know fact to drive up profits. Higher priced items are generally positioned on the right side of the aisle within eye level of course. They want your shopping experience for the expensive items to be easy breezy, but if shoppers want less expensive options or generic brands they will have to work for those……………. continues on
