Take it from former New Hampshire Sen. Judd Gregg – who won more than $ 850,000 from the Powerball lottery in 2005 – the lucky winner of Friday’s record-breaking $ 640 million Mega Millions lottery jackpot will want to get professional help to manage their new fortune.

Gregg says he remembers the $ 10 to $ 20 he spent on a few Powerball tickets seven years ago as being an impulse purchase.
